Dating for 4 montsh
If it hadn’t happened in 365 days, what made me think that on day 366, my year-long wish would be granted?
Situations like this one influenced my decision to develop my own six-month rule.
The last two weeks have been very stressful for me since I am having a really tough time landing a job, so ive been really stressed out and kind of feeling down, he was very supportive and trying to help out in the ways he could.
Another reason i was stressed out was because I am currently living in miami but i am from ecuador originally, so i started thinking about me either staying here and keep looking for work or going back to my home town and start over there, and obviously this guy which i really liked was on my mind and was one of the reasons i want to stay here since i knew that if i left to ecuador our relationship will be over.
Of course, being official or unofficial are just words, and ultimately titles don’t make relationships…but commitments do.
So if a man can’t figure out if he wants to officially commit to me after months of serious dating, I choose to believe he won’t decide by me lingering around “playing” girlfriend for too long.
Whatever the reason, one thing was clear: we were not going to be together.
I don't want to AFC and come across as needing a title, but I'm getting tired of spinning my wheels in the dating scene with her. I just don't know if this girl is jerking my chain or not. unfortunately i'd rather be in a relationship with this girl. Say, "i know this may sound funny, but i feel like i shouldn't pay ALL the time." When girls buy you dinner or buy you flowers, it makes them "invest" in the relationship more. Sounds like you are ready for this girl to come around.
I usually pay for our dates, sometimes she will pay. plus, if we're "exclusive," I can't go after other girls, as she can't go after other guys. I feel like I need to talk to her about it, without seeming clingy/needy for a relationship. She should be wondering the same thing, if she thinks you are going out with other girls. If you are paying for everything, how can she feel that little tingling inside that tells her, "this is a guy who isn't going to put up with my shit, and i LIKE that." I told my girlfriend, on the first date, i don't pay for girls. You don't want her on the market because she is hot?
all im saying is dont do what i did and turn into a pussy..
Ive been dating a guy for 4 months now, its been great, hes really nice to me, makes time to see me, always calling and texting, making plans ahead, we even went to key west two weekends ago together! I thought everything was going great and that we were both on the same page and that our relationship was moving forward.
